Prague has been a city of alchemists, astronomers and mystics for centuries. Rudolf II Holy Roman Emperor gathered the greatest minds of the Renaissance here: Tycho Brahe, Johannes Kepler, John Dee. Astrologers, alchemists and philosophers, drawn by the same impulse that brings us together now.
It is one of the most extraordinary cities in Europe. And it is the perfect setting for four days of deep astrological study.
Join Deborah Morgan and Lisa Stockley as we explore the natal chart through three ancient lenses alchemy, mystery and magic. Each offers a different quality of attention. Each opens up dimensions of astrological understanding that are rarely explored in the classroom. Together, in this city, they come alive in a way that is difficult to describe and impossible to forget.
You may find that Prague itself becomes part of the teaching.
We begin on Thursday 22nd October at 17.00 with an introductory session.
LEARN
Each morning brings two sessions of teaching with Deborah and Lisa rigorous, reflective and rooted in your own natal chart. This is astrology studied properly, in depth, with time to ask the questions that matter.
EXPLORE
Prague's afternoons are yours. Wander the alchemical quarter, visit the astronomical clock, lose yourself in the hidden courtyards. An optional guided walking tour of alchemical Prague brings the city's extraordinary history to life.
INTEGRATE
Each evening we gather to bring the threads together the teaching, the city, the personal discoveries. This is where the week becomes more than the sum of its parts.
The Faculty has been creating experiences like this since 1948. We know how to make four days count.
COST – £460 (full payment) or 3 instalments of £160 each
This includes all course content but does not include travel, accommodation or meals.

Guiding you on your astrological journey
Alchemy, mystery and magic is guided by an experienced team of Faculty tutors who bring depth, wisdom, and a creative spirit to their teaching. Each tutor offers a unique perspective on astrology as a tool for personal myth-making and self-discovery. With warmth and clarity, they’ll help you engage deeply with the archetypes in your birth chart, illuminating the inner narrative that shapes your life.
Their supportive and intuitive approach ensures a safe and enriching environment where insight can unfold and transformation can begin. Whether you are revisiting familiar symbols or discovering something entirely new, you’ll be gently led toward meaningful revelations and fresh inspiration.
Course requirements
This course is open to anyone with a basic knowledge of astrology, and welcomes both current Faculty students and independent learners.
Faculty students
The weekend is ideal for students who have completed Module 3 or above. It offers an opportunity to explore your chart in a creative and experiential way, enriching your studies with fresh insight and personal meaning.
Non-Faculty students
You don’t need to be a Faculty student to attend. However, you should have a working knowledge of natal chart interpretation, including familiarity with the planets, signs, houses, and aspects. Registration and fees
Early booking is recommended.
- Fee: £460 – 480 (includes a non-refundable deposit of £160)
- Payment options: One payment (£460) or three instalments of £160 each.
Course cancellation and travel insurance
In the unlikely event that the course attracts too few students for us to run it successfully or in the event of adverse weather conditions, the Faculty of Astrological Studies reserves the right to cancel. Course fees paid by the student will be refunded in full if the course is cancelled.
N.B.: The Faculty of Astrological Studies strongly advises that all students obtain travel insurance that will completely reimburse all travel costs as these cannot be covered by the Faculty.
