Astrology Weather for February 2026
Written by Deimante Lape
Welcome to the 2nd month of 2026, dear astrology friend/enthusiast/professional!
As Aquarius season unfolds in full swing, we kick off the month with a Full Moon in Leo at 13°03’, which will be exact at 22:08 UT/GMT time (1st of February). This Full Moon deals with the polarity and finding balance between all that is expressive, heart-led, dramatic, personal (Leo), and all that is visionary, team-focused, objective, collective (Aquarius). This time might bring out some intense emotions while asking us to let things out of our systems, especially with Mars in Aquarius also being conjunct with Pluto. There’s this sense of liberating, dramatic actions taken, or a burst of energy incoming.
On the 4th, Uranus stations direct in 27°27’ of Taurus, and it marks the final turn of Uranus before it re-enters Gemini in April. The momentum here accelerates, perhaps making the last twists related to the sign of Taurus (breakthroughs or realizations in themes of finances, resources, environment). It also marks a time for the integration of this Uranus in Taurus period before collectively moving to a whole new chapter.
On the 6th, Mercury enters Pisces, and on the 10th, Venus enters Pisces – both bringing more intuition and empathy to our daily lives. Creative thoughts may flow, as well as inspiration, just let’s all be mindful of not getting lost in the mystical energies of Pisces, with Mercury in Pisces being in the sign of fall.
On the 14th, just on Valentine’s day, Saturn enters Aries – where it will stay until April of 2028. It brings a major period of growing with groundedness, starting building something meaningful. It seems like the time will ask us to take our goals and initiatives more seriously, guiding ourselves with patience and structure. Traditionally, Saturn is in its fall in Aries, so we should be mindful of not building up the frustration with the energy inside ourselves. For someone with Saturn in Aries natally (yes, the tip is also for myself!), it brings a Saturn Return at some point, a much written-and-talked-about transit of maturing.
The 17th of February marks another highlight of the month, the first Solar Eclipse of 2026, which is happening in 28°56’ of Aquarius at 12:13 UT/GMT time. Sun & Moon will also be tightly squaring Uranus in Taurus, which adds another layer of unpredictability, freedom, and excitement. Sudden changes & resets are a sign of Eclipse, but with Uranus in the picture… It certainly amplifies the “expect the unexpected” quality. Let’s all be ready to make some leaps into our future, breaking away from outdated paths and versions of ourselves.
Just one day after, on the 18th of February, we’re entering the Pisces season with the Sun moving into this mystical, creative, and emotional sign – it might perhaps help us to deal with the consequences of the Solar Eclipse more intuitively and softly.
On the 20th, we have a very important transit of the month, or, as some astrologers call it, the “headline transit of 2026” – a Saturn – Neptune conjunction in Aries 00°45’ which is happening at 16:52 UT/GMT. It’s a rare conjunction that hasn’t happened in Aries for more than 300 years, AND it happens at 0 degrees of Aries, which marks the beginning of the Zodiac wheel itself. This meeting of an outer and social planet feels a bit uncomfortable, for both of them, as one brings structure and clear lines and the other one dissolves them, makes them foggy or blurred. Emotionally, this may blur or soften boundaries, asking us to have a more realistic faith and structured dreams. However, it definitely has a powerful energy of initiations, new beginnings, and starting from zero (literally and astrologically).
Lastly, on the 26th, Mercury stations retrograde in Pisces from 22°33’, starting the retrograde cycle and moving backwards up until the 20th of March. It may bring opportunities to reflect, rethink some seen (or dreamed!) symbols, and to recognize our thought patterns, which may also need some healing. This retrograde may also highlight some tendencies to escape from reality, daydream, or overthink your creative ideas. We should stay mindful of ending February in a grounded way!
