How can we sum up the essence of a particular period in history? This webinar explores how the cycles of the transpersonal planets describe the spirit of the times we live in.
Can we sum up the complexities of a particular period in history by looking at the positions and cycles of the transpersonal and social planets? And can looking back through history ever help us understand today? Does history repeat itself, or does it only rhyme?
The first webinar focuses mostly on the current decade. Is it a uniquely grim and challenging time to live through, as we are constantly being told, or is this what people always feel, whatever period they are in?
In the second webinar, we continue to look back at other decades or eras – particularly the ones that captured the public imagination either at the time or retrospectively, such as the 1920s, the 1960s and the 1980s. What exactly is their appeal? Were they really so great? Were they as transformative as people say? Is nostalgia a healthy emotion?
And are there periods that we could argue were very historically and culturally important but which for some reason don’t get the attention they deserve? What does the astrology tell us about all of this?
