The focus in any astrological session is always the natal chart. All other techniques are placed in relation to that map of the sky at the moment you were born. In reality, to understand in depth a natal chart means that one can comprehend all themes, issues, and possibilities that could unfold with time. Thus, working on the natal chart is paramount.
However, we often feel confused when facing this vast number of symbols and trying to coherently integrate them into a meaningful interpretation. An astrological chart is a complex representation of the labyrinth within, and we can easily get lost and start wandering around its different components.
In this series of webinars, we will study how to move beyond that confusion and how to create meaningful interpretations that can describe the person as a whole, and not simply as fragmented parts. We will move from basic interpretations to more in-depth psychological interpretations. We will first learn how to get a vast amount of information from planetary placements, moving away from simply listing keywords. Then, we will explore how the interactions between planets modify their expression and how it tends to show inner tensions or axes of support. These relationships structure our psyche. And then we will learn how to prioritise which piece of information will be more relevant. Astrological technique requires us to be careful in sessions, as usually short, and we need to be able to choose the right amount of information that can be delivered. Finally, we will focus on how to integrate all factors to create a full report which can be delivered either written or orally.

When we start learning astrology, we usually begin by memorising keywords. This is a very useful approach for developing interpretations. But what if we could see planetary placements as a dynamic psychological process rather than a label, static in time?
In this first webinar, we will move beyond memorised meanings. We will work on reading planetary placements as living symbols. We will be encouraged to understand each placement not only through intellect (air) but through the four fundamental modes of perception: fire, water, and eart as well. This will allow you to develop interpretations that are grounded, dynamic, emotionally attuned, and conceptually clear.
Instead of asking “what does this placement mean?”, we will try to focus on how it functions: how it manifests in behaviour (earth), how it moves and motivates (fire), how it feels and relates (water), and how it understands life (air). I hope to nourish a psychologically rich understanding of the natal chart that can reflect the complexity of the individual rather than reducing it.
We will work through practical examples to show how a single planetary placement can unfold, helping you develop interpretations that are both precise and yet not deterministic. We will also explore how each placement conceals some shadow aspects, and we will learn to see how a planet may reject and deny certain experiences in order to embrace others. By the end of the session, you will be able to extract far more information from each placement, while maintaining coherence and interpretative depth.

Planets connected by aspects are forced to work together. For instance, if your Sun is in aspect to Saturn, every time the solar principle comes to the foreground, Saturn will come with it. They are fated to each other, intrinsically linked. Studying the doctrine of aspects teaches us that most of the time, we can not meet the pure planetary principle as it tends to be modified by the planets it interacts with.
Carl Jung said that the meeting of two personalities is like the contact of two chemical substances and that both are transformed. We could say the same thing about planets in aspect. They both change in the way they see life, their experience reality, and they express their aims and goals. Each planet has an agenda of its own; when in aspect, it may have to negotiate with others. And how this negotiation will go depends on the aspect involved.

Sometimes we look at a chart and we ask: where do I begin? There is a massive amount of lines crossing from one side of the circle to another and it feels daunting to have to make sense of it all. But, though it may seem impossible, in this chaos there is hidden order. And we can approach this vast amount of info in a careful, organised and analytical way.
