Faculty of Astrological Studies

Supervision Groups
for Aspiring Diploma Holders

Supervision supports the development of our practice of astrology with the input of an experienced practitioner and peer support. These supervision sessions are designed for Faculty students who have completed Module 9 and are moving towards the Diploma, providing a space to reflect on and support your developing skills, knowledge, and practice.

The supervision sessions comprise a small group of up to four students and run for 2.5 hours. During the session, you will have the opportunity to present your client work in a confidential, supportive space facilitated by an experienced tutor, with both tutor and peer support. The sessions are held online and are not recorded.

You will need to have your client’s permission to present your work in the session. You will prepare a short presentation following a format established in the online classes, followed by discussion and input. Each participant has 30 minutes for sharing and discussion of their work.

You can participate after a consultation has been carried out, and we invite you to complete your session review prior to attending; alternatively, you can participate before a planned consultation. Permission from your client is needed in both cases.

For your 30 minute slot you will prepare a short 15 minute slide presentation following structured guidance which presents the consultation, the chart and your own reflection and review process. This is then followed by 15 minutes of input, reflection and discussion with the facilitator and peers.

You can participate in supervision before your consultation takes place but you must have already arranged the consultation with the client, have a scheduled date for the session and have prepared the astrology.

You will need to have completed Module 9 and gained the credits before joining a supervision session.

You can attend regularly or occasionally as it suits you.

No – your Diploma Exam must be your own independent work.
