Paying by instalments

Please note that you will not receive a reminder to pay your instalments. It would be appreciated if you can note the dates in your calendar. Direct links to pay the instalment payment options will be sent with your formal order confirmation letter, so keep it handy!

The first instalment is payable now.
The second instalment is payable by 15th May.
The third instalment is payable by 30th June.
All bookings by instalment are considered as reserved only, until the final amounts have been received by 30th June.

Payment for the weekend course includes a non-refundable deposit of £75.

Accommodation

Start by selecting your choice of four board options with a standard room.
You can upgrade to an ensuite in the next step.

The weekend course is held at Exeter College, on Turl Street. If you want to choose a single ensuite room, you can select to have your accommodation at Turl Street or in Cohen Quad.  Exeter College’s Cohen Quad (https://www.exeter.ox.ac.uk/the-cohen-quad-site/) is at a 10-15 minute walk from the Turl Street site and closer to the bus and train stations. The address is Cohen Quad, Walton Street, OX1 2HG. You can see it here: https://www.exeter.ox.ac.uk/tour/. No matter where you choose your accommodation, meals are held at Exeter College.

Shared ensuite

These are available for anyone to book. Unless you specify a named friend that you would like to share with, rooms will be allocated randomly by gender. Shared ensuite rooms contain a shared living space and a shared bathroom for the 2 occupants, as well as a small separate bedroom each.

Meals

Dinners are Friday and Saturday.
Lunches are Saturday and Sunday.

Residential bookings are available until August 6th at 11:59 pm. From August 7th, you can still book all courses without meals or accommodation. 

Room preference

Please be aware that the buildings at Exeter College are medieval and there are no lifts / elevators. Most rooms are up several flights of stairs. There are very few ground floor or lower floor rooms, and these are generally reserved for delegates with disabilities, so please expect some stair climbing if you book at Exeter College. The more modern Cohen Quad is a good choice if you prefer not to have to climb stairs. It is a 10-minute walk away and has lifts / elevators to all floors. It is also double-glazed, and each room has its own refrigerator. All rooms at Cohen Quad are single ensuite. Please note that all meals including breakfast are served at Exeter College.

*Standard Room*
Your enrolment includes a standard room. All standard rooms come with a washbasin in the room, and there are shared bathroom facilities with others along the same corridor. Corridors are generally kept single gender where possible. Standard rooms are available at Exeter College only.
If you would like to upgrade to an ensuite room, you may do so here.

*Shared Ensuite*
A shared ensuite room has a lounge and bathroom shared between two, with separate small bedrooms. If booking a shared ensuite, please give the name of the person you are sharing with. Unless you specify a named friend that you would like to share with, rooms will be allocated randomly by gender. Shared ensuite rooms are available at Exeter College only.

*Single Ensuite*
A single ensuite room has a private bathroom. You can upgrade to a single ensuite room at Exeter College or in Cohen Quad, which is a 10 minute walk from Exeter College. All rooms at Cohen Quad have a refrigerator and are double glazed, with lifts / elevators to all floors.

If you have chosen a twin ensuite room and you know who you would like to share it with, please put their name here. Otherwise, it will be allocated randomly.

Extra night at the start of your course (Thursday 20th)

If you wish, you can book a room for the night of Thursday 20th.

If staying on Thursday 20th, please indicate if you would like to have dinner

Extra night at the end of your course (Sunday 23rd)

If you wish, you can book the night of Sunday 23rd. Please, note that this will be a single ensuite room in Cohen Quad. Sunday 23rd extra night is not available at Exeter College.

Would you like dinner on Sunday 23rd?

If you are staying during the night of Sunday 23rd, you can have dinner with us and other delegates that may be coming to the five-day course. Your night’s stay is in Cohen Quad but dinner will be served in Exeter College.

Sunday afternoon workshop

Would you like to attend a workshop on Sunday afternoon? Summer School workshops are £35 if booked before the 1st of June. After that date, the price will increase to £45.

New student registration fee

If you are new to the Faculty OR have attended only online seminars or online workshops, an additional one-time £35 registration fee is payable. If you are booking for the 5-day course as well, please ensure you only pay one fee of £35.
