This is a webinar for anyone who has ever feared darkness. The quest for meaning in life often elevates us towards the illuminated sky. We draw on images of heroes and saints that inspire us to strive to be better than we are. Yet, there is another aspect of spirituality that emerges from below, from the mud and the dirt. Images of Pluto are associated with descent and darkness. The lord of the underworld can lead us on a journey that can sometimes feel like having our boundaries of self-protection being violated. However, Pluto, in Greek mythology, means “the rich one.” In this journey, he offers us treasures that are unimaginable to the world of the living. This webinar will be approached in a multi-layered fassion. We will study Pluto’s astronomy, mythology, astrological signification and we will add some further interpretations from Jungian psychology.
