Symbolic systems in different guises, tarot cards and astrology share many similarities as well as clear differences. In this series we’ll look at the tarot deck from an astrological perspective. We’ll consider the connections between the two systems, considering the established systems and more intuitive connections. No prior knowledge of tarot is assumed and all levels are welcome.

The Minor Arcana of the tarot is often seen as being about everyday life and the more mundane aspects of our experience. But they are also about the sacred found in the everyday and in this seminar, we’ll look at the deeper meanings of the number cards in the four suits. Each card is assigned a planet in a particular decan of a sign, giving us a wealth of symbolism to consider and different ways to connect and interpret the cards.

In this seminar we’ll look at the various astrological correspondences given to the tarot Courts, exploring how they can help us to interpret these sometimes challenging cards and put them into context in our readings.
