Astrology Weather for April 2025

April 2025 Astrology Overview Written by Rendy Fudoh

April sees two inner planets, Mercury and Venus, station direct in Pisces. Mercury, planet of communication and intellect, turns direct on 7 April, followed by Venus, associated with love, pleasure, and values, on 13 April. These shifts mark a turning point: from reflection and internal processing to more outward expression in communication, relationships, and creative pursuits.

The early part of the month may still feel like a preparatory phase, particularly as Mars trines Saturn on 5 April, supporting focused, disciplined action aligned with emotional maturity.

Although April contains relatively few difficult aspects, it is not without intensity. The supportive Saturn–Uranus sextile on 4 April encourages practical innovation and a rethinking of old routines. Later in the month, however, Sun square Pluto on 23 April may challenge us to examine internal attachments or patterns that no longer serve our long-term vision. Finally, as Venus conjoins Saturn on 25 April, we are invited to find a deeper sense of purpose and commitment in our creative, emotional, or spiritual lives.

Astrological Highlights and Key Dates

4 April – Saturn in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus
This aspect blends tradition with innovation. You may find inspiration for a long-term goal and be ready to take the first steps, perhaps by doing something outside your usual routine. It’s an opportunity to bring a visionary idea into a more grounded, achievable form.

5 April – Mars in Cancer trine Saturn in Pisces
A steady and productive influence. Actions taken now are likely to be well considered, emotionally grounded, and aligned with long-term purpose. Ideal for building something lasting through patience and persistence.

6 April – Sun in Aries sextile Jupiter in Gemini
This uplifting aspect brings optimism, generosity and a boost of confidence. It’s an ideal time to share knowledge, express yourself boldly, or start something expansive.

6 April – Mars trine Venus (Rx)
This aspect supports inner reflection on relationships and values. Emotional courage can bring insight into what truly matters to us, particularly in the context of home, family, and emotional security.

7 April – Mercury conjunct Saturn, then stations direct in Pisces
A clarifying moment. Thoughts may feel weighty, but focused. Ideal for committing to long-term plans, setting realistic intentions, or articulating your ideas with maturity.

8 April – Venus (Rx) in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus
A moment for re-evaluating what brings joy and meaning. Sudden realisations about love, beauty or values may arise, encouraging emotional freedom and personal growth.

13 April – Full Moon in Libra (23°) & Venus stations direct
The Full Moon brings clarity to partnerships and shared dynamics. Emotional balance is key. As Venus moves forward again, we may feel more resolved about what we value and desire.

16 April – Mercury enters Aries
A shift to fast, direct, action-oriented thinking. Great for initiating new ideas, honest conversations, and cutting through indecision.

17 April – Mercury in Aries conjunct Neptune in Aries
An imaginative aspect. Insight may come through intuition, dreams, or creative vision—though clarity may be fleeting. Best used for artistic or spiritual pursuits.

18 April – Mars enters Leo
Mars brings assertive energy into confident, expressive Leo. A great time to take bold action, perform, or pursue goals with flair.

19 April – Sun enters Taurus
A stabilising influence. Focus turns to persistence, sustainability, and grounding efforts in practical reality. Ideal for cultivating patience and growth.

19 April – Mars in Leo trine Neptune in Aries
Inspired action. This supportive aspect helps you channel ambition into something meaningful, whether through creativity, service, or spiritual goals.

20 April – Venus in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus
A second wave of emotional freshness, this time with direct motion. Love and creativity may take unexpected turns, revealing new paths to joy and connection.

20 April – Mercury in Aries sextile Pluto in Aquarius
Thoughts deepen. An ideal time for strategic communication, uncovering truth, or writing with impact.

21 April – Sun in Taurus square Mars in Leo
Irritation or impatience may surface. Use this tension to gauge when persistence is needed, and when to pull back.

23 April – Sun in Taurus square Pluto in Aquarius
A moment of intensity and transformation. Let go of what no longer aligns with your values or security. Powerful shifts may be possible.

25 April – Venus in Pisces conjunct Saturn in Pisces
A serious tone in matters of love, values, and creativity. Reflect on commitment, responsibility, and what truly deserves your energy and attention.

27 April – Mars opposite Pluto in Aquarius & New Moon in Taurus (7°)
A powerful close to the month. The Mars–Pluto opposition may surface personal or collective power dynamics. The New Moon grounds this energy, offering space to set intentions around stability, self-worth, and long-term growth.

All times are given in BST (British Summer Time).
