Astrology Weather – April 2026

Written by Faculty student Deimante Lape

Welcome to April 2026 – a month that will invite us into a fast-paced & dynamic new cycle. Let’s explore the key astrological transits and what they might mean for all of us.

On the 2nd of April, we start the month with the Full Moon in Libra at 12°20’, exact at 02:11 am UT/GMT time. This is a time of culmination and heightened emotions, with topics of romance, relationships, and the polarity of “self” vs the “other” at the forefront. Moon & Sun in this polarity will both be squared by Jupiter in Cancer (creating a Cardinal T-square), and it may add some more exaggeration or drama, perhaps also helping to see the bigger picture. There seems to be a need to find a middle ground between our own needs AND attending to, or at least being mindful of, the needs of others. Restoring the balance where the exchange has become unequal might be needed. Let’s pay attention to what becomes increasingly obvious and what this Full Moon is illuminating for all of us.

On the 9th of April, Mars enters Aries, the sign of its rulership, and in the upcoming month, it will conjunct Neptune (on the 13th), Saturn (on the 19th), and Mercury (or, rather, Mercury will conjunct Mars, on the 20th). The stellium in Aries during this month brings a spark of energy, and it asks us to move, to act, to be bolder with our dreams and goals. We might be asked what we are choosing and where do we want to put our energy? Mercury entering Aries on the 15th of April brings more quick thinking, bold ideas, and assertive communication. We might feel a bit more impatient, argumentative, and impulsive with our thoughts. However, it’s a good time to use this energy productively – have a clear focus, be braver with our own ideas, say out loud what’s on our minds.

The second half of the month brings us the New Moon in Aries at 27°28’, happening on the 17th of April at 11:51 am UT/GMT time. This New Moon will also be conjuncting Chiron, the Wounded Healer, which may require us to face our vulnerabilities and stay courageous – perhaps firstly by being honest with ourselves. The energy of Aries New Moon invites us to move forward, but Chiron here reminds us that we all have our wounds to carry – and we don’t need to be perfect, we just need to take that first step. Are you ready to do that?

On the 20th of April, we’re starting the Taurus season with the Sun moving into this Earth sign. We might feel that sensuality, stability, and material grounding are becoming more important. A few days after, on the 23rd, Venus will conjunct Uranus in Taurus just before entering Gemini on the 24th, bringing the energy that may feel liberating, exciting, and curious. Connections may flow more easily, with an invitation to explore and stay flexible, rather than trying to control.

The last huge transit of the month, which is perhaps the most far-reaching one – Uranus enters Gemini on the 26th of April, 00:50 am UT/GMT time. Uranus returns to Gemini for the full cycle of the 7 years, up until 2033, when it will settle into Cancer. This feels like a perfect time to open our minds to new possibilities by breaking old mental habits that are no longer useful. Possibly, we may feel an attraction to learn something new, look at things from an alternative perspective, and become more adaptable. Globally, this period may bring some radical new ideas, breakthroughs, experimentation – new models of learning, communication, or transportation may emerge. It seems to be a more volatile cycle, but more mentally creative at the same time. Let’s be open-minded and curious for this new chapter to see what it brings!
